Who is responsible
Ottercloudyorchard Arts Ltd is responsible for personal information it receives in connection with this website. Our registered office is 16 Gay Street, Bath BA1 2PH, United Kingdom; company no. 15307284. For privacy enquiries, write to [email protected].
The correspondence sheet
The message tool on the Contact page constructs plain text in your browser. Its script does not submit form entries to a server, save a draft in localStorage or send email. Copying places the prepared text on your device’s clipboard, subject to browser permission. Downloading creates a text file on your device. You are responsible for the storage and onward sharing of copied or downloaded text.
Your browser may offer its own autofill, form restoration or clipboard history features. These are controlled by your device and browser settings, not by this site. Avoid entering sensitive information, and clear shared-device history or downloaded files when appropriate.
Email you choose to send
If you send us email through your own application, we receive your address, message, and any information or attachments you include. We use that information to consider and respond to correspondence, address corrections, administer the website and handle privacy or legal enquiries. Please share only information necessary for your enquiry.
We ordinarily rely on legitimate interests in operating an informative website and responding to relevant correspondence. Where processing is necessary to meet a legal obligation, that obligation is the applicable basis. We do not use editorial enquiries to enrol you in marketing.
Technical information and service providers
Delivering website files necessarily involves network information such as an IP address. Hosting and security systems may process request details, timestamps, browser information and error records to deliver and protect the service. The supplied page scripts do not add analytics, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking.
Hosting and email providers may process information on our behalf. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal rights. We do not sell personal information. Where a service arrangement involves a restricted international transfer, applicable data protection safeguards are required.
Retention and security
We keep correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to address its purpose, maintain relevant records and meet applicable legal requirements. Relevant factors include whether an enquiry remains open, whether a correction needs an audit trail and whether a legal issue requires preservation. You may ask about the retention of a particular message.
No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Please do not email passwords, payment details, collection security arrangements or other sensitive material. Copies retained by your own email provider or on your device remain subject to those services and your settings.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Contact us first if you have a concern. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. This does not limit any other applicable rights.
